HISTORY

GDS Instruments Sdn Bhd(Co. No. 404745W) was established on the 4th October 1996 by founders Mr. Ang Koh An and Mr. Yoong Kien Khong with RM100,000.00 authorized capital and fully paid-up. The authorized capital and paid up capital increased to RM500,000.00 and RM250,000.00 respectively in February 2002.

The mission of the company is to provide quality sales and service support for Field and Laboratory Civil Material Testing Equipment specializing in Geotechnical aspects.

The company set up a joint venture company RST Instruments (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia with RST Instruments, Canada to locally assembly and manufacture of Geotechnical Instrumentation products for this region in April 1999. 

The followings are the Civil Material Testing equipment manufacturers that are represented by GDS Instruments Sdn Bhd exclusively in Malaysia:

GDS Instruments Sdn Bhd’s founders Mr. Ang Koh An and Mr. Yoong Kien Khong both have combined experience of more than 20 years in training, sales, installation, technical support and servicing of the ranges of geotechnical testing equipment represented.

EXPANSION

GDS Instruments Sdn Bhd and RST Instruments (M) Sdn Bhd will be moving into their newly bought 3 stories industrial building by 2003.
